transfer box

hello the breather pipe for my transfer box leaked hydro oil yesterday, not sure why. checked and the level is fine.
no burning smell or overheating and i have not used it in 4x4 mode for weeks.
any information would be good.

hello the breather pipe for my transfer box leaked gear oil yesterday, not sure why. checked and the level is fine.
no burning smell or overheating and i have not used it in 4x4 mode for weeks. this has now hapened twice. a mercedes garage say they are not sure why this is hapening.
please help as we are off down to south africa end of febuary
any information would be good.
