Wartungs teile nicht von mercedes

Hello alle,

was is eure meinung von un-echte filters etc die nich von Mercedes angefertigt werden. Hier in Australia echte teile sind sehr teuer.
Gibt es bei euch un-echte teile und wo man kann sie bestellen. Ich wohne hier im " bush ", das heisst ich muss fast alles mit die post bestellen. Vieleicht es waere moeglich von Deutschland zu kaufen.

Ich waere dankbar fuer eine information.

Ich finde dieses forum sehr informative, es gibt hier se etwas nicht fuer Mercedes Benz.

I am answering in English to make it easier to understand for you. But I have to say your German is really good. Where did you learn it, school?
Regarding your filters I could not tell you about anything available that is not OEM and how they work. I also do not know about pricing in Germany. Here in the states the oil filter runs $11.00, air filter $32.00 and the fuel filter $43.00.

Actually I'm not familiar with the actual exchange rate EUR to USD, but your prices don't sound very cheap
If you like to buy parts for maintenance (i.e. brake parts, filters and stuff), you can buy it here in Germany in every car parts store, many of them have also an online shop.
Mostly, the parts are not "unreal", they're manufactured by the same company who delivers the parts to the daimler chrysler factory.
The only difference is the branding, instead of the Daimler Chrysler sign you have printed "Mahle" on your filters ...
My best hint for guys living outside germany is to order via Ebay, there are some german car part sellers who offer also sending worldwide.
The problem, however, is the high price for sending the parts to Australia -so it would be applicable to order a big amount together.
